When purchasing an oven there are things to look for. Make sure it has an independent testing lab. The manufacturer should be able to contact and warn you of any latent harm so you have to give the correct details about yourself when purchasing. Make sure your oven is properly installed.

Protection measures when using the ovens. Make sure you don’t leave cooking with no one around. Wipe all dirt on the oven since they can cause fire. When cooking keep your hair well tied and long sleeved clothes rolled up to prevent them from catching fire. When using gas as the source of energy make sure it has been properly fixed to prevent fire outbreak.

After cooking the oven should be left empty. Racks should be well positioned before preheating the oven to prevent burning.

If fire outbreaks in the oven keep the door closed then turn off the source of heat.

Benefits of cooking using an oven. It saves energy since its fast in cooking. The flavor or texture of food is not affected by being reheated in an oven. Nutrients loss is minimized when cooking using an oven compared to when pan cooking. Food cooks evenly due to the even heat distribution. Food doesn’t stick on the sides of cooking dishes and this makes cleaning easy. The vessel used for heating do not get heated when heating the food.

Its healthy to eat baked food rather than deep fried foods since they are low in fat.
